Model Congress |
LHS Theater Company |
Model Congress provides students with experience and insight into our legislative system by having students write planks, write bills, debate bills, vote for party leaders, show allegiance to a political party, and simulate real Congress by attending the NJ Statehouse and Rider University while competing with other schools.
|
The Theater Company provides students with theater experience both on and off stage through producing “Theater Sports Night”, a fall drama, and a spring musical. Students gain experience in acting, stage management, stage make up, and prop and costume managing. Opportunities will also be provided to see and talk with professionals in the theater community through a trip to New York City and a theater competition at West Chester University. Continued work earns students membership into the International Thespian Society, an honor society for demonstrating excellence in the high school theater program.

Marching Band members focus on pride and precision while entertaining audiences and supporting the school community. The field show is learned during band camp and perfected over the course of the season. The band follows in the footsteps of traditional marching band programs and new members are always encouraged.
